As with so many things, when we try to view “Armageddon” through the limited aperture of four-dimensional Spacetime, we misunderstand it. Yes, “Armageddon” is conceived of as the ultimate battle on Earth between good and evil, light and darkness. The part we get wrong is how and on what playing field that contest will play out. Or rather, to be accurate, is playing out. Because I think we are there now.
To be clear, Armageddon will not be a contest between the missiles and bombs and drones of the forces of good, on the one hand, and the missiles and bombs and drones of the forces of evil, on the other. No, Armageddon cannot be a battle between armies. Besides, the participants in any such battle generally each regard themselves as the forces of good and the other side as the forces of evil. Even if a climactic military battle were to produce a clear winner, there would remain a debate about whether good or evil had won the day. No doubt history would record good as having won, but that is only because the winner gets to write the history.
As an aside, consider as something of a parallel the notion of “Apocalypse”. Often conflated to some extent with “Armageddon”, and often misconstrued as portending some sort of global disaster after Armageddon-gone-badly. Hence the notion of a “post-apocalyptic” future, which in my opinion is the setting for way too many of our movies and stories. Rather than any of that, the true meaning of “Apocalypse” is the revealing of the true nature of reality; literally a “lifting of the veil”. That is, a beautiful thing. Which has been gradually unfolding over perhaps the last thirty years. Building to something of a crescendo, it seems to me; i.e., Armageddon. Because the revealing of the light also reveals where the darkness has been hiding. Of course, the darkness prefers to hide; it does not favor the revealing. Once flushed out, the darkness fights to hold its ground.
Now, back to Armageddon as concept. Yes, there is good and evil on this planet; there is light and there is darkness. Apparently, a much broader range of all that than is common in our galaxy. I have come across the notion that the broad span was by design. Earth was afforded a daringly broad range for free will to play in. Moreover, the outcome of the story would not be predetermined. As stories go, the Earth story would be epic. No wonder so many “Starseeds” (mostly good, but ostensibly more than a few from less enlightened backgrounds) have wanted to incarnate here. Similarly, no wonder so many beings from other worlds apparently are tuned in, giving rapt attention to the story unfolding on Earth and what might happen next.
As for the etymology of “Armageddon”, there is not much revealed by the name. It comes from “Mount of Megiddo”, which the Christian Bible (New Testament, Book of Revelations) identified as the intended site of the final battle between good and evil. As for the mountain thing, I think of that in terms of the “crescendo” that the Apocalypse rises to as precursor to Armageddon. Interestingly, there is a parallel in Islam: the “Al-Malhama Al-Kubra” is predicted as a final, brutal war to occur in the “end times”. My take, however, is that Armageddon, when viewed through a lens of spirituality and metaphysics, is not about war at all, at least not in the sense of armies battling it out.
The real gameboard: the quantum fields, the excitations within which create the illusion of “particles” and thus the pixelated field of dreams that we regard as “reality”. Admittedly the proverbial “very persistent illusion”, but illusion all the same. The true gameboard, and the real “weaponry”: thoughts and feelings – and the vibrations or resonance they carry. On the one side, the illusion of separation taken to extreme: we are alone here, cut off from whatever might have created us; every man (and woman) for himself (or herself); dog eat dog; an eye for an eye. On the other side, unity consciousness; we are all in this together; and we are all connected in our divinity, each of us an indivisible part of the One. Moreover, we are in it with the consciousness of the Earth. Truly, a massively multi-player game where we are all on the same team.
The real battle? Thoughts of separation and hostility, on the one side, and thoughts of universal connection and caring, on the other side.
The timing: now. The five-year period from 2026 through 2030. The light and the darkness will have it out. In the quantum fields. With the contest reflected to some degree in the events of “the world”; but that is not where the battle itself will be playing out. The real playing field is our individual (and collective) hearts and minds.
Which side will win? There is good news on this point. The light will win. The darkness will gradually falter and fail and weaken and fade. Not all at once; there will be no global surrender by all that is evil. But more and more our world will gradually become a brighter and happier place. If I am correct, it will be obvious enough by the year 2030 that the world has become and is continuing to become a better place to be.
The odds should be stacked on the side of light, because it is the side of truth. The truth that we are all connected, all of the One, should eventually prevail against the illusion of separation. The truth of abundant creation should always eventually win out over the falsehood of scarcity. The truth that we are powerful ought to trump the lie that we are powerless. The truth that we are loved and valued as emanations of Source/God ought to defeat the lie that we are unworthy or without meaning. Given a long enough time and the avoidance of self-annihilation, any world will eventually find its way into the light.
There was a time, not so many years ago, when the outcome here on Earth may have been in doubt. Not because the darkness would actually win, but rather might succeed in destroying the viability of the planet as a gameboard. But by many accounts that I consider credible, the outcome is now a given. The major remaining question is how long it will take for the light to prevail. The timetable for that is not predestined. But we are now in a five-year period where the timing is propitious.
Not that the end of “Armageddon” will wrap up Earth’s story or the story of humanity on Earth – far from it. But it will be an inflection point; it will signal a new chapter, and thus a new beginning. In a planetary and human history that will span at least millions of years, a period of a mere five years is a tiny (albeit crucial) window of time. Given the destiny of these five years, ponder for a moment what you had in mind when you chose your time of entry into your current lifetime. How might you have planned for how your personal story would play out against the backdrop of Earth’s story during these pivotal five years?
One factor that will, over time, help to speed the process along, relates to what many have referred to as a “timeline split” or “split off”. As I concluded in an earlier article on this Blog (“Two Worlds”), this is unlikely to mean that the darker half of the planet will suddenly die or vanish or be replaced by more benign “Non-Player Characters”. Rather, the less-evolved or karmically-twisted players in Earth Game will not be allowed to plan their next lifetime here after their current one comes to an end. Sort of a “You must be this tall to go on this ride” rule that will have been put in place. The broad span of light and darkness that has been part of Earth’s story will not be quite so broad going forward.
On the question of how rapidly the light will spread and the darkness will diminish, the determining factor is us. Individually and collectively. In every moment, with every thought, every feeling, everything we choose to pay attention to. With every imagining that dances across the quantum fields in excitations that precipitate into what we call “matter”.
To be clear, it is not our deeds that will win the day. We do not need to take up arms, or support a cause, or actively campaign against this particular evil or that. This is not so much about doing. We support the cause of good through our being.
We do tend to want to begin with right-minded action, even though that is not the starting point. That is because of our longstanding habit of deploying masculine energy to initiate anything. Paradoxically, the first step here is feminine energy. Specifically, the divine feminine. Only after that has initiated the sequence by setting the resonance can masculine energy usefully contribute through any kind of doing.
There is a third aspect, i.e., beyond the divine feminine and the divine masculine. We have an ally. The Earth! She has been awakening, stirring for some time now, readying the energy, preparing the way. Time capsules have been opening right on schedule, as we mark 13,000 years (roughly) since the final fall of Atlantis. That is, halfway around the 26,000 cycle that has now come fully around. So that, with good finding its triumph over evil, that circle can lift into a spiral. Earth will begin a new chapter, at last beyond the perennial struggle between the light and the darkness.
Thus we find ourselves now in the final five years of a 26,000 year cycle, with the deck now stacked in our favor. Armageddon, bring it on.
How does the Earth come to our aid? By contributing a resonance that we can tap into. There is a divinity to that resonance; it lies beyond the polarity of light and darkness; it mirrors back to us the divinity that is within every one of us. If we can achieve coherence with that resonance, our contribution to the contest playing out in the quantum fields will be a powerfully positive one.
Coming back to the notion of taking action, it is not that there is anything bad about good deeds. It’s just that they are not the point, relative to Armageddon. Good deeds are merely the precipitation, the pixelated evidence, of good thoughts that have already found purchase in the quantum fields that lie beyond four-dimensional Spacetime. In any case, it is the thoughts and feelings behind “good” deeds that determine where they land in the battle between good and evil. If one does what one considers to be “good deeds” in order to gain advantage or even eminence (i.e., Ego gratification), they will be tainted. Conversely, if the motivating force behind our actions is love and joy, that will always play out on the side of light.
I am not suggesting that one simply ignore events in the world, or that we collectively leave evil to do as evil does. There is a place for reaction to events. But the sequencing needs to be resonance first, reaction second. If reaction can be focused through the lens of unity consciousness, it will be softened; the resonance can hold. Even as we collectively do what is seen as needing to be done.
The danger of reaction first is that it will be prone to descending into Us-against-Them thinking. Whether the Us and the Them are nations or political ideologies or economic divisions or ethnic divisions or religions or genders or sexual orientation matters not; all Us-against-Them resonance negates and denies unity consciousness. Regardless of the justification or “correctness” or moral high ground we think we are standing upon, such a reaction will take unity consciousness out of the equation. Thereby putting us on the side of darkness, not the side of light. When championing any cause, do this self-check: am I falling into the trap of Us-against-Them thinking here? Because if you are, you are not casting a vote for the light. No matter how self-righteous you feel.
Where Us-against-Them thinking presents as a menu option, instead come back to the love (i.e., the divine feminine) and the joy (the divine masculine). In no circumstance will Us-against-Them thinking advance the cause of either. If you cannot find a way around the tug towards Us-against-Them thinking, then shift your attention to something – anything – that can be framed in terms of love and/or joy. Identify the trap, and walk away from it.
Become skilled in recognizing the click-bait traps of things that invite a triggered (i.e., angry) response or a fearful response. Walk away. Find a way back to the blissful feelings that the divine feminine (love) and the divine masculine (joy) will invite every time.
Learn the habit of setting your own resonance instead of allowing your resonance to be set by your reactions to events in the world. It will be essential to have that habit because, frankly, there is going to be a lot to react to. The darkness – now that it can no longer hide in the shadows – is increasingly coming to light (think Epstein, for just one example). There, it will not go down without a fight. It will stir up as much trouble as it can on its way down. And it will try to take you with it. Here again, walk away. Come back to love, come back to joy. Even if part of your psyche accuses you of living in a fantasy world. In truth, you want that fantasy world; you want to create it for yourself and for the world.
Besides, the near-term future won’t be all bad, and it won’t even be that bad. The light is rising, and wonderful things will increasingly be precipitating out of that. Indeed, it is the rising of the light that is stirring up the darkness, roiling to the surface things that would have preferred to remain hidden. Yes, much will collapse, but new and brighter things will rise from the ruins.
And no, I am not predicting World War III or the use of nuclear weaponry. I am not actually predicting anything, other than that the light will gradually increase and the darkness will gradually ebb. Predicting specific events is a fool’s errand, given that probabilities and even the range of possibilities are shifting with every thought that dances its way across the quantum fields.
In practical terms, the principle is simple enough. Your attention is your magic wand. Look for things to feel good about. Where you find yourself having to pay attention to things you would rather ignore, make it a challenge to find a way to do so with love in your heart and a joyful mind. Mostly, though, your attention is yours to deploy. (I am mindful here of the well-known Indigenous parable of two wolves, one of the darkness and one of the light; the one that wins is the one you feed.]
To be sure, there is a skill to be developed. For a simple practice drill, one might reasonably indulge in joyful celebration when one’s sports team wins, while developing the habit of quickly moving on when the team doesn’t win. No team wins them all. But if you can teach yourself not to linger in sadness or anger when your team doesn’t win, not only will you feel better, you will have aided the cause of light in its perennial contest against darkness. Yes, the sports example is admittedly a trivial one in the context of “Armageddon”. The point here is that Armageddon is not won in a single decisive battle, but rather in a myriad of moments where someone chooses light over darkness, love over fear, joy over sadness, peace over anger.
You can get partway to where you want to be by training yourself to focus on things that feel good rather than on things that feel bad. However, if your primary strategy is scanning the horizon for smiley-face things to react to, occasionally you may find slim pickings for good news to focus on. Hence the need to generate your resonance from within – rather than in reaction to events out there. The beautiful source of love (the divine feminine) and joy (the divine masculine) is always there within you, and always available.
Beyond reacting to events out there, you will likely encounter (and perhaps you recently have encountered) times when the source of anxiety seems to be coming from within; i.e., everything feels like a trigger for you. The reason is that the closer you are to finding personal passage into a world of greater light, the greater the push will be to toss out whatever can’t go there with you. As it comes to the surface, send it into the light for recycling back into the sea of energy that is the playing field for all consciousness.
If from time to time you find yourself caught in a spiral, just go find some time in nature until you feel better. Which you will, every time; there is a reason “forest bathing” is a thing. The Earth will be more than happy to touch you with the divinity that is all around you and is who you are.
If all this seems too abstract, consider an exercise that I use to tap into the rising energies of the Earth and contribute what I can to the contest playing out in the quantum fields. Begin with several deep slow breaths; achieve a meditative state if you like. Now, imagine the energy at your heart centre, i.e., your fourth chakra. Go deep into that place, and find there a tiny speck of golden light. It is the divine feminine; it is pure love. Let it expand up and out until a beautiful golden beam is flowing from your heart centre. Next, imagine energy at your sixth chakra, i.e., your pineal, your “third eye”. Activate there, and notice a tiny speck of silver light. It is the divine masculine; it is pure joy. Let it expand up and out into a silver beam. Aim the golden beam and the silver beam so they are at a 45 degree angle to each other. Where they meet, imagine at the confluence a portal or doorway (perhaps blue or blue-green if you like). Imagine you have a key to that door; turn the key. And feel it open to the energies flowing up from the Earth. Notice that those rising energies reveal the architecture of this reality; the design, the mathematics, the geometry – and the grand story of the Earth. All waiting for you to remember them. Which you can do by resonating with the rising energies; by allowing yourself to achieve coherence with them. Play with those energies as long as you like, and in any way that you like. Know that, in that resonance, in that coherence, you are casting a mighty vote for the light and speeding the demise of the darkness.
Take note that you begin by accessing the divine feminine and the divine masculine within you. You don’t need to seek them on a mountaintop or some sacred place or from some guru; they are within you. Now. Whoever you are, and whatever your story to this point. For that is who you truly are.
Can I be certain about my hypothesis that we are in times of Armageddon? No, of course not. But I observe that many others are expressing similar notions these days; much of what I have synthesized here is neither unique or original to me. Consider that, even if I am incorrect, surely there is no downside to actively cultivating a mindset of love and joy. Whereas, if I am correct, there is an opportunity to participate and contribute that you will not want to miss.
Yes, I am aware that a common, longstanding reaction to thoughts such as these is to push it all down the road, while somehow clinging to a middle ground that is disappearing from under your feet. Too busy, too preoccupied, too confused, too focused on reacting to things, too distracted, too stressed out, too afraid; just try not to think about it. But this pressure-packed time will take away that middle ground; procrastination will be tugged inexorably downward towards the darkness. Which we should see as a good thing; if on the fence or meh were going to remain options, that wouldn’t be much of an “Armageddon”, would it?
Go with the notion that Armageddon is game on; it is happening now. Let’s see how far we can move the dial during these magical five years. Godspeed.
